• Initial Status (May 2023): At the start of the second term, the government reported that 206 PHCs had been completed under the first term's goal of one functional PHC per ward (351 total), leaving 93 PHCs outstanding.

  • Progress on the 93 PHCs (2024–2025): By mid-2024, the administration stated that re-evaluation of these outstanding facilities had commenced. Some of these 93 facilities were integrated into the World Bank-assisted IMPACT project, with about one-third of them included in a 106-unit revitalisation list.

  • Phased Upgrades (March 2025): The government announced a new phase to upgrade 66 PHCs specifically to boost grassroots delivery. This phase focuses on installing solar power, electronic medical record systems, and modern equipment in two facilities per local government.

  • Total Ward Goal: The administration maintains a target to renovate an additional 51 PHCs beyond the original 299 contract, aiming to reach 351 renovated PHCs (one for every ward) by the end of the tenure in 2027.
